From Pittsburgh in the west through York in the center and on to Philadelphia in the east, ACE affiliates in Pennsylvania span the state’s three major regions. Each brings together a group of dedicated architects, engineers and contractors eager to help high school young people better understand the rewarding opportunities available through careers in the building industry.
The result is programs that combine activities such as field trips to construction sites and professional offices with “hands-on” projects that simulate actual situations. These projects might include everything from designing skyscrapers and condominiums to renovating an old building for a new use. In addition, the affiliates provide various kinds of financial assistance to those who pursue an academic program leading to a career in our industry.
